Tony Gregory appears headed to Blacksburg next month. The 6-0, 190-pound running back prospect, a 2008 class signee who spent this past fall at Fork Union Military Academy, has submitted all necessary paperwork to Virginia Tech and the NCAA and expects to enroll at Tech on January 12th.
"Coach Newsome came down a couple of weeks ago," Gregory said. "He said they needed my transcripts, so I gave him those. The Clearinghouse needed my test scores, so I sent them. Getting the paperwork was the priority. I guess if I don't hear anything differently, then I'm good. It is looking like I'll be there next month. If I don't hear anything, I'm supposed to be there on January 12th."
