Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.) defensive back Josh Hunter , one of the top overall defensive prospects in the state of North Carolina's 2009 class, has significant interest in Virginia Tech and may schedule a visit to Blacksburg for some time this fall. Nothing has been set yet, although the 6-2, 180-pound standout hopes to be in touch with primary recruiter Kevin Sherman soon.
"[Virginia Tech] has not been in contact [via phone] so much recently, but they have been in touch. I've been getting handwritten letters from them," Hunter said. "I haven't visited, but I'm trying to set something up.
