We had been hearing all summer that the Tech coaches were very concerned
about their opener with ECU, and on Saturday we found out why. Some of Virginia
Tech's problems against the Pirates can be traced to youth and inexperience, but
at the same time, some old demons reared their heads. The 2008 season is off to
an ominous start.
