Kevin Newsome confirmed today the news that he had de-committed from the University of Michigan and reopened his recruiting process.

"I tell you what, man. Michigan is one of the greatest schools, period. The business school is top of the charts. The football is top of the charts. Everything is great about the University of Michigan. But me and my family discussed it, we talked over it and prayed over it and came to the conclusion that life is short and you only have four years to play college football and to go to college. As blessed and fortunate as I am to have as many scholarship offers as I have, I just want to be able to choose the right one," Newsome said.
