When Curt Brown returned to the Granby (Norfolk, VA) sideline as defensive coordinator in the 2007 season, he saw a potential stud in 6-2, 210-pound linebacker Telvion Clark . Clark didn't disappoint, registering over 150 tackles including nine sacks last season as a junior. As the new Comets head coach, Brown expects a big-time senior season from Clark, who has continued to improve this off-season.
"When I first saw him, he was raw," Brown said of Clark, who has committed to Virginia Tech. "He was a raw talent. He had the speed then, but he has gotten a lot better with his speed already. Now, he is more comfortable with the game. He is having fun. He knows he needs to learn more, but he is real fun to watch right now."
