Petersburg (VA) rising senior Cadarian Raines . decided to end his recruitment yesterday, verbally committing to Virginia Tech over offers from George Mason, Maryland and VCU. The 6-8, 215-pound power forward is Virginia Tech's fourth commitment for the 2009 recruiting class.
"I decided to commit yesterday," said Raines, who plans to sign a letter of intent with the Hokies in November. "Virginia Tech felt like a good place to be. The coaches seemed real cool with me. Coach Greenberg has been there a lot. He has come to games and I've talked to him a lot. I felt comfortable with him.
