Bassett (VA) standout lineman Andrew Miller had three scholarship offers for football, from Florida State, Virginia and Wake Forest, and he also had an offer from Virginia Tech to accept a wrestling scholarship and then switch over to football after one year. Last night, he made his decision.
" Andrew Miller verbally went with Virginia Tech last night at about 11:15," Bassett head coach James Gilbert wrote via e-mail. "He will be on a wrestling scholarship for year one, practice with football up to the time wrestling starts, wrestle, and then return to spring football after the wrestling season comes to a close. Thereafter, he will be strictly football."
