Bassett (VA) offensive lineman Andrew Miller has enjoyed an outstanding past few weeks, receiving his first Division 1A football scholarship offer and then winning the Group AA state championship in the 285-pound division in wrestling. Bassett varsity football head coach James Gilbert sees more success in the future for his talented junior.
"He actually has been offered by UVa," Gilbert said. "Now that that is out there, I'm sure he'll get more. He has a direct line in with Virginia Tech because that is where his brother wrestles. Andrew is a good wrestler, also. N.C. State and Wake Forest are also interested. He has been to Wake's camp each of the past few summers. A lot of ACC schools are in the picture."
