Virginia Tech remains the only Division 1A scholarship offer for Varina (VA) star DeAntre Rhodes, but there is plenty of other interest in the 6-2 1/2, 265-pound defensive lineman. Varina offensive coordinator Blanda Wolfe provides the latest on the talented junior, a VHSCA second-team all-state selection on offense and defense.
"Tech is the only offer, but Tennessee is pretty interested in him and he just received handwritten stuff from Florida," Wolfe said. "Virginia is also interested in him. And Coach Bratton from Maryland is showing a lot of interest. He will be able to choose where he wants to go."
