A decision could come very soon from Hermitage (Richmond, VA) quarterback Joseph "Ju-Ju" Clayton, who made an official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend. The 6-2, 210-pound standout senior is considering offers from Tech, William & Mary, and Youngstown State, but Virginia Tech is the only favorite he has made an official visit to.
"I had a good time," Clayton said of the weekend experience in Blacksburg. "We ate a lot up there (laughs). I met all of the coaches. They seemed real cool. Tyrod [Taylor] was my host. He was fun. He seemed cool to chill with. I met a lot of the players and it seemed like I could fit in good there. I talked to [Alonzo] Tweedy and Davon [Morgan]. I talked to other recruits such as D.J. Coles. I remembered Ike (Isaiah Hamlette) from our scrimmage against Brooke Point. Everyone seemed like real good people, people I could get along with."
