Former Hermitage (Richmond, VA) LB/S Alonzo Tweedy will finally enroll at Virginia Tech. He enrolls this Saturday with classes beginning on Monday. Tweedy, who signed a letter of intent with Virginia Tech in February of 2007, is one of two grey-shirted prospects that delayed enrollment for one semester.
Despite not being in Blacksburg this past fall, Tweedy kept busy with his former football team. He worked closely with Hermitage's defensive coordinator and attended some games. He also worked hard to improve his strength and conditioning before arriving at Tech.
