Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA) defensive end Joe Jones picked up an official offer from the University of Tennessee recently, adding to the offers he had already received from three other Division 1A programs - Connecticut, Maryland and Virginia Tech. The first-team all-Tidewater selection has set two official visits for the month of January and will likely make a college choice in late January.
"I've got Tennessee on the 18th and Virginia Tech on the 25th," said Jones, a 6-3, 245-pound prospect. "That's it so far. I'll probably take one more visit, but nothing is set."
