New Hanover (Wilmington, N.C.) defensive tackle/offensive lineman Nick Becton has made a college choice, a choice that certainly comes as welcome news for Virginia Tech's coaching staff. Earlier today, the 6-6, 290-pound recruit verbally committed to Virginia Tech over offers from Alabama, Maryland, N.C. State, Penn State and South Carolina.
Becton made official visits to N.C. State and Virginia Tech before coming to this decision.
