New Hanover (Wilmington, N.C.) DT/OL Ryan Williams each made their respective official visits to Virginia Tech over the weekend. By all accounts, all three official visits went very well despite no commitments being made.
TSL was not able to reach any of the three prospects for comments but did catch up with the mother of 6-6, 290-pound Nick Becton. Shortly after returning home, Nick learned that he had been selected to play in the NC/SC Shrine Bowl next Saturday. Busy packing to head to the Shrine Bowl headquarters in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Becton was unavailable for comment. (The Shrine Bowl is a week-long event. The kids arrive the weekend before the game, stay for an entire week and then play the game on Saturday.)
