Xavier Boyce 's senior season certainly did not go as planned. He was ruled out for the season because of a separated left shoulder, an injury he suffered in the third game of the year...he would play in the fourth game, but has not played since. The 6-3, 200-pound senior, a Virginia Tech recruit, has kept a good attitude, though, and has further reason to get excited about his future.

"I really wanted to finish my senior season," said Boyce, who is icing and rehabbing his shoulder and hopes that he will not eventually need surgery. "But, like my mom was saying, I can just relax now and recover for Virginia Tech's season next year."
