As Ocean Lakes' (Virginia Beach, VA) starting quarterback, 6-5, 215-pound Marcus Davis has performed very well, leading the Dolphins to a 6-2 record this season. Having tallied close to 1,800 total yards of offense so far, his performance has caused some college coaches to consider giving him a look at quarterback on the next level.
"Virginia Tech, Penn State and UVa have mentioned it," Davis said of the possibility of playing quarterback in college. He likely projects as a wide receiver in college. "They are all saying they would give me a shot at quarterback if I wanted one. As a matter of fact, I talked to Coach Newsome [last night] and he said if I wanted to play quarterback then I could get a shot there."
