6-2, 245-pound defensive end Everett Dawkins has turned in an excellent senior season so far, having racked up 74 tackles including 17 tackles-for-loss and five sacks in helping Bynes (Duncan, S.C.) to an 8-0 record. Besides those impressive stats, Dawkins also has 23 "big plays" and 62 "execution points" for head coach Chris Miller.
Miller constitutes a "big play" as a play that changes the momentum of the game. An execution point is awarded for executing an assignment correctly even if that player doesn't make the play. Dawkins leads the team in the latter category.
