One of the more intriguing prospects in the state of Virginia's 2008 football recruiting class is a player who originally only thought of himself as a basketball player. That is until Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA) head coach Jim Prince helped convince Randall Dunn to play football last season. Foreshadowing things to come, the 6-3 Dunn returned a kick-off 80 yards for a touchdown the first time he touched the ball last season.
Dunn, a wide receiver for Ocean Lakes, only played five games last season. He has played the entire season this year and, as a result of his performance, has received Division 1A scholarship offers. In seven games - Ocean Lakes is 6-1 heading into a big contest this week versus undefeated Green Run - Dunn has tallied 10 touchdowns including two in last Friday's victory.
