Good play from the #1 offense and #1 defense highlighted Saturday afternoon's scrimmage in Lane Stadium. Sean Glennon had a very good performance in front of a big crowd that took up a good portion of the West Stands, and Cam Martin was a standout on the defensive side of the ball.
On the first play of the scrimmage, Sean Glennon threw a deep post to wide receiver Josh Morgan. Glennon hit him in stride for a touchdown from approximately 68 yards out. He hit his first four passes of the day, and finished 6-of-10 for 117 yards and a touchdown. One of his incompletions was a drop. He had two receivers open on the long pass to Morgan, the other being tight end Sam Wheeler, but he waited for Morgan to get by cornerback Stephan Virgil, and then made the throw for the touchdown.
