Byrnes (Duncan, S.C.) defensive line star Everett Dawkins has enjoyed an outstanding late spring/summer time, landing offers from programs such as Florida State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. The 6-3, 245-pound standout, one of the hottest recruits in the Southeast, is a versatile and talented player for head coach Chris Miller.
"Everett is very coachable," Miller said of Dawkins, who racked up 46 solo tackles including 18 tackles-for-loss and three sacks last season as a junior. "He is a very knowledgeable kid. He listens to you. He soaks in everything we are trying to teach him. He is a yes sir, no sir type of kid. He is always on time. He is dedicated to what he is doing at a young age and he works really hard.
