Amherst (VA) rising senior Peter Rose grew up following Virginia Tech. His teammate, Derrick McCoy, has already committed to the Tech program for the 2008 class. Tech has many things going for it in this race and it kept its momentum going by impressing Rose at Saturday's camp.
Tech offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring, who is Rose's primary recruiter, told the DB/WR prospect to arrive early on Saturday. Rose obliged and met with head coach Frank Beamer early Saturday morning.
