New Jersey product Mike Gee signed with Virginia Tech in 2006, but due to an issue with his transcripts he was forced to go the junior college route to get to Blacksburg. The talented defensive end prospect still hopes to enroll at Virginia Tech and is working hard to do so.
Last summer, Gee, after graduating from Dwight Morrow High School (Englewood, N.J.), settled on Garden City Community College in Kansas. He red-shirted last football season due to complications from a foot injury, but was able to take 22 credits worth of classes. Unhappy so far away from home, he decided to transfer to Nassau Community College in Long Island, New York, in January.
