Salem's outstanding junior tandem of LB Kevin Whaley continue to go through the recruiting process, though not much seems to have changed over the past few months. Whaley, the Tidewater Offensive Player of the Year as a junior, has added an offer, though.
"Virginia Tech and Maryland have offered," Salem head coach Robert Jackson said of Whaley, who rushed for 1,992 yards and scored 37 touchdowns last season.
