There is a lot of excitement in the fan base about Virginia Tech's 2007
recruiting class, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The 2006 Tech
offense struggled, holding the team back from possibly a very special season.
Many Tech fans are upset that the offense seems to lag behind the defense, so
naturally they are excited about the possibilities of this talented offensive
recruiting class.


The correct way to evaluate a recruiting class is to determine the positions
of need, how many players the coaching staff wanted to sign for a particular
position, how many they actually signed there, and how highly rated those

determine what grade each position should receive.
