6-5, 310-pound Will Alvarez made an official visit to Virginia Tech last weekend. The Hylton (Woodbridge, VA) star, an AP and VHSCA first-team all-state performer his senior year, also was to receive some important news this week. TechSideline.com checked back in with Hylton head coach Lou Sorrentino for the latest.
"The visit went real well," Sorrentino said. "He really enjoyed it and it kind of reconfirmed his decision. He came back excited, as did the family. It was good in serving to further motivate him. He really enjoyed it."
