6-5, 265-pound Desmond Roberts , a three-star offensive line recruit out of Northampton (Gaston, N.C.), made an important official visit this past weekend to N.C. State. Roberts committed to N.C. State before the dismissal of Chuck Amato as head coach and has continued to call himself a Wolfpack commit � albeit a soft commit � since Tom O�Brien took over. Is he now a solid commit?
�Coach O�Brien knew that I was committed before. He asked if I still wanted to be a commitment,� Roberts said. �I said I was still committed, but I�m still thinking about going on some other visits. He was cool with that. I have to talk about it with my mom to see what I'm going to do.�
