Virginia Tech’s entire defensive staff traveled to Varina High School (VA) yesterday. They met with four Varina seniors – all of whom project on the defensive side of the ball on the next level – in an effort to get closer to closing out the 2007 recruiting class.
“Coach Cav, Coach Foster, Coach Wiles and Coach Gray were in,” Varina Offensive Coordinator Blanda Wolfe said. “They met with Marell Evans. I know they also were going to see [Highland Springs DB] Cris Hill and a defensive lineman from North Carolina or something like that.”
