6-2, 220-pound linebacker standout Hunter Ovens made his official visit to Virginia Tech last weekend. The Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL) star, who rated his experience in Blacksburg a “nine or a 10,” discussed the trip as well as his outstanding senior season.
“I had a really good time,” Ovens said of his official visit to Virginia Tech. “I enjoyed watching the game from a close view. It was a really good atmosphere. The fans were really into it. What got me most excited about the visit was the atmosphere of the game. I also met with some of the academic counselors. The coaches showed gave me a tour of the whole stadium. They seem real excited to have me there.”
