Tech recruit Josh Oglesby has been playing tailback for Garner High School (N.C.) this season, a good move for him considering that is the position he is being recruited to play for the Hokies. The 5-11, 205-pound recruit, a fullback last season in Garner's power-I offense, has helped his squad to a 5-1 record in 2006.
"The season is going good," Oglesby noted. "Everything is going as expected except for that one loss. We just started conference play and we're looking to make a run for conference champions again. We have a lot of prospects in our conference this year, so it's a lot tougher than it was last year. We still have a lot of athletes, but we don't have as many as we did last year. We're more of a young team this year, so I'm just trying to be a leader."
