Mike Gee , a talented defensive end prospect who signed with the Hokies this past February, will not be able to enroll at Virginia Tech this fall. But, the 6-2, 228-pound prospect has found a home and has a plan to get to Blacksburg in two years.

"He's at Garden City Community College in Kansas," said Sandra Gee, mother of the former Englewood High School star. "He still wants to get to Virginia Tech. [The Tech coaches] said he's going to have to go there for two years, but, given everything that has happened, we're just taking it one day at a time. That's the plan, though."
