Khalil Latif isn't the only Central Virginia standout to commit to Virginia Tech today. Hermitage (Richmond, VA) standout defensive back recruit Alonzo Tweedy joined the Hokies today as well, becoming the 20th verbal commitment of the 2007 recruiting class (and the 18th in this month alone).
"He just committed to Tech this afternoon," Hermitage head coach Patrick Kane said. "He went up for the spring game. I think he went up for another visit earlier as well. He just really liked it. Plus, he has some former teammates up there. The staff was really excited about him and the school is close to home."
