Andrew Lanier , a 6-5, 235-pound tight end/defensive end standout out of Dorman High School (Roebuck, S.C.), verbally committed to Virginia Tech according to Dorman head coach Dave Gutshall. Lanier is the third player from yesterday's camp to commit to the Hokies.

"I was by Andrew that he did [commit to Virginia Tech]," Gutshall said.
