Virginia Tech is one of the nation's most athletic teams. It seems that
every season Frank Beamer or one of the other Tech coaches is describing the
team as "the fastest we've ever had." The Hokies are loaded with athletes
at all positions, some more than others. So who is the most athletic player at
each position? Some of the answers may surprise you, especially at the
quarterback position.
To determine Tech's most athletic players, we used the testing numbers
provided by Beamerball.com from March, 2006. Each player was ranked based on how
he performed against other players playing the same position. If a player had
the best bench press, he was given a one. If he had the fourth best 40 time, he
was given a four, etc.
