With Virginia Tech's recruiting objectives defined and the May evaluation
period in process, VT's recruiting target board is taking shape. By June, the
initial list of players that the Hokie coaches will pursue at each position
should be completely set. We take an early look at figuring out Virginia Tech's
major recruiting targets. First up: the offense, led by quarterback prospect
(and possible five-star recruit) Tyrod Taylor out of Hampton.
In this two-part series (part two will concentrate on defense), the purpose
is not to give any indication of player ratings or their likelihood of picking
Virginia Tech. The focus is to present you with a list of top targets, as we see
it right now, for reference as you check out recruiting updates and databases.
