Clover Hill High School (Midlothian) made the trek all the way from Richmond to Lake Taylor High School for the Norfolk combine, and the trip was definitely worth it for offensive line prospect Blake DeChristopher.

In front of coaches from Louisville, North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia (Mike London) and Virginia Tech (Curt Newsome and Bryan Stinespring), the 6-5, 290-pound DeChristopher performed very well in his combine performance. He benched 185 pounds 28 times (only two shy of his personal best) and, according to Clover Hill head coach Sean O’Hare, posted consecutive 5.0 forty times. He looked pretty athletic while running those 40s.
