Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA) star D.J. Thomas picked up his first official scholarship offer last week, when Virginia Tech came in with an official letter. There certainly may be more to come for the 5-9, 168-pound standout athlete, as Maryland and Virginia have been showing interest as well.

"D.J. has received a written offer from Virginia Tech,” Patrick Henry assistant coach Scott Brown said.
