Virginia Tech appears in good position to land a commitment from New Town (Owings Mills, MD) 6-4, 190-pound standout Douglas McNeil . McNeil has not yet made a decision, but has set an official visit to Blacksburg for next weekend.
"As far as I understand and after talking with his parents, he plans on committing to Virginia Tech," New Town head coach Rich Stichel said. "He's supposed to go to Virginia Tech next weekend for an official visit. I think Virginia Tech is where he's going to go. He's always talked about going there. He went there this summer for camp and really enjoyed it."
