Two schools seem to be in good shape to land official visits from 6-2, 260-pound Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC) defensive lineman Adam Patterson . Patterson, a 4-star recruit who is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the country, continues to be heavily recruited by Virginia Tech, which landed top defensive line recruit Hivera Green out of South Carolina in last year’s class.
“I’m still keeping it wide open and giving everyone a chance,” Patterson said. “Right now, I think I’ll probably end up taking officials with South Carolina and Tennessee.”
