6-3, 190-pound defensive back prospect Greg Davis made the short trip from Blue Ridge School to Charlottesville on Saturday to see Virginia’s 26-21 win over Florida State. Davis, a highly rated in-state recruit, talked about Saturday’s atmosphere and what impact, if any, the game may have made on his decision.
“The fans were crazy,” Davis said. “They were all jumping up and down. Some had their faces painted orange. It was a real good atmosphere. Virginia kind of surprised me with the way they played. Marcus Hamilton had a good game. Tony Franklin had a good game.”
