After being introduced by his head football coach, Brian Dodds, Princeton (Cincinnati, OH) star offensive tackle recruit Aaron Brown gave a short speech before pulling out a hat of the school he has chosen. According to Cinti Hokie (who was at todayβs press conference), Brown, a 6-6, 285-pound offensive tackle prospect who is rated a 4-star recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com, selected Virginia Tech over Auburn, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Purdue today at a 2:30 EST press conference.
Brown is a major addition for Tech, which was looking to add quality offensive linemen in the 2006 recruiting class. In addition to being rated a 4-star recruit, Brown is rated as the #8 offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals and the #18 offensive lineman in the nation by Scout.
