Outstanding Phoebus (Hampton, VA) athlete Brent Vinson recently landed an offer that seems to have gotten his attention. In fact, the 6-1, 185-pound wide receiver/cornerback recruit has already set an official visit to this program.
“I just got an offer from Coach Slade at Tennessee,” Vinson said. “He called my mom [late last week] and then I called him back. He gave me an offer right then. He said they are looking for a big style cornerback. [Vinson’s cousin, Virginia Tech cornerback] Jimmy [Williams] started a trend for big cornerbacks.”
