West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) star Ricardo Crawford, a physically gifted 6-1, 305-pound defensive tackle recruit, plans on making a verbal commitment in the very near future. Crawford is considering official offers from Appalachian State, Georgia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
“[Georgia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest] are the main ones in contention,” West Columbus head coach Vernon Brigman said. “We went to Blacksburg on Sunday and we met coach Beamer and coach Wiles and the rest of the staff. He got to tour everything and got the academic breakdown.
