Nigel Munson has always wanted to play basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference. “Watching it on TV, I see that it’s the one conference where the competition is always tough,” said Munson, who is a 6-1, 170-pound junior point guard out of DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD). “So I feel as a player that I fit into that conference and I can play at that level.”
He’ll get his chance. Yesterday, Munson became the first member of Virginia Tech’s 2006 recruiting class.
