Virginia Tech will no doubt be in the market for several top defensive line targets for the 2006 class. The Hokies offered a good one earlier this week in Josh Minton, a 6-4, 245-pound defensive end out of Southwestern Pulaski high School in Somerset, Kentucky. Minton was offered by Virginia Tech during an unofficial visit earlier this week.

“They watched the film and immediately they got the interest, so that tells you they know what they need,” Southwestern head coach Dale Anderson said. “I think once they saw him in person that was the selling point for the coaches. He’s real impressive to see in person.”
