Conway (SC) star Hivera Green's first official was this past weekend, when he visited the University of South Carolina. It was a good opportunity for the 6-5, 260-pound defensive lineman to get to know the South Carolina coaches a little bit better, and he feels he did just that.
"The visit went great," Green said. "I got a chance to meet all of the coaches. They have a good coaching staff. I met the defensive line coach and the co-defensive coordinator. I liked the way they spoke about how they are going to set up the defense. It's almost exactly like the defense we run in high school. That's a big positive. It would be easy for me to come right in and play. They see me as a player that can come in and play early. I feel like I have a good relationship with the coaches. The players are great too. I like the confidence they have now. They know they are going to win."
