6-7 1/2, 300-pound offensive tackle Eric Davis put in a lot of hard work from the end of his junior season to the beginning of his senior year. The West Springfield (VA) standout not only improved his weight from 265 pounds as a junior to 297 pounds by the beginning of his senior season, he, more importantly, was able to improve his footwork.

"[West Springfield Head] Coach [Bill] Renner and some of the assistant coaches developed a program for me in the off-season last year to improve my footwork," Davis said. "It really helped with my footwork out on the field."
