Douglass (Atlanta, GA) star James Davis, who is one of the top tailback recruits in the country, made his official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend. Virginia Tech joined Tennessee as one of Davis' top 2 schools before the weekend, and the visit appeared to really help the Hokies solidify and even enhance their position.
"I loved my visit to Virginia Tech this weekend," Davis said. "They are at the very top of my list right now. They're my top school. I'm probably going to go there but I want to take my visit to Tennessee first to see them. I really liked it up there though. I was very close to committing."
