Rocky Mount (NC) cornerback Stephan Virgil had planned on taking an unofficial visit UNC on Saturday for the Virginia Tech/UNC football game. Because of an exhausting but productive performance on Friday night, the 5-11, 165-pound Virgil was unable to make it to Chapel Hill.
"I didn't go to the game," Virgil said. "We beat Northern Nash 40-0 the night before. I played really hard and made a lot of big hits. I overslept and didn't make it to the game."
