Newnan (GA) defensive tackle prospect Sergio Render arrived in Blacksburg last Friday, not knowing too much about the Hokies other than what he has seen on television. He left on Sunday knowing exactly what Tech has to offer, and he was impressed.
"I loved it," Render said of his official visit to Virginia Tech. "I really enjoyed it. I loved the area. I really liked the country. I'm a country boy, and it reminded me of my hometown. I liked the mountains. I liked the fans at the game. The players welcomed me and I enjoyed them."
