Virginia Tech’s latest commitment is for one of the team’s biggest needs in the 2005 recruiting class. Yesterday, Virginia Tech landed a verbal commitment from talented and productive Phoebus (Hampton, VA) defensive end Steven Friday .
"Yes I have," Friday replied when asked if he had committed to Virginia Tech. "Location was a factor. And I just liked how I felt when I visited. I felt comfortable and I liked it a lot. The coaching staff is also a lot like the one I have now."
